You may be mistaken (like me) in thinking that the Festival is the same as the Henley Royal Regatta, the social event founded in 1839...Wrong!

The Henley Festival is actually in it's 33rd year; it is a festival of Arts and Music. It started life with the focus on classical music however it has developed over the years into a 5 day festival with live music from different genre, contemporary arts, comedy and fireworks. Champagne, black ties and evening dresses add to the glamour of this quirky event. 

​I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of covering Henley as a corporate event photographer, capturing the essence of the unusual festival.

Henley Festival is full of surprises, with fine dining provided by the amazing Albert & Michel Roux

Roux's There were waterworks and Fireworks....

Working in "evening dress" was a first for me, but what a great excuse dig that posh frock.

For something a little bit different, with entertainment galore I would recommend a evening (or two) at the Henley Festival.
